The holiday break had provided a brief respite, but now it was time to reconnect with students, classrooms, and the essence of education. Starting a New Unit: Lessons in Adaptability Tuesday marked the commencement of a new unit and introduction lessons. Excitement filled the air as I prepared to unveil the intricacies of the subject matter. However, it didn't take long for me to realize that the classroom isn't always a canvas where lessons unfold exactly as planned. The Unpredictability of the Classroom As the day progressed, it became clear that each class had its unique dynamics and learning pace. While the lessons were originally designed to be completed in a single day, it quickly became evident that one and a half days were needed.
